Featured Project - Huf Haus Build

Huf Haus recommended DG Site Preparations to Mrs Brownlow who was building a beachfront property in Aldwick on the stunning West Sussex Coast.

Mrs brownlow required full Project Management to include, Demolition of the existing large detached dwelling, liaison with the local planning authority to secure approval for the demolition works, disconnection, relocation and reinstatement of all utilities and installation of drainage.

An additional requirement was to work to a specific planning consent, that required the building to be raised by 1.5 metres above the exiting ground level. This was due to the possibility of High Tides. To this end the house was raised.

During the course of the excavations, the foundations to the adjoining property were discovered to be of a shallow depth and required underpinning without disturbance to the adjoining property. Our experience enabled us to respond to this critical situation with precision engineering and we successfully stabilised the adjoining property.

As with all DG Site Preparations Projects, all materials removed from the site were recycled to keep the impact to the environment to a minimum.
